Welcoming Diversity

The lovely Lucila Lontajo, a Library Technician at Westwood Collegiate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, sent me a kind request for a variation on my Libraries Are For Everyone signs: please make a set of Welcome signs.

BLAMMO! So mote it be.

If you’re interested in adding languages from your community, then check out this post that contains templates. Whether in Word, Publisher, Canva, or any other photo editor – you should be able to add the text on top of the image using whatever color(s) you’d like.

Thank you, Lucila, for providing me with all of these translations – especially the ones from First Nations!!!

UPDATE: I put together as many Welcome signs that I could using Google Translate and shared them here. That said, I’d still love any and all new translations.
